Product Introduction and Design Features

The PH product is a horizontally mounted full CNC rotary table. It ranges in size from 450mm - 4,000mm diameter and is perfectly suited to any large rotary application.

This product has been recently re-designed updated some of the features of the earlier PH models.

The backbone of the all new PH rotary tables are the recently incorporated wire race bearings. These large diameter precision ground bearings provide the high loading characteristics and enable the table to accommodate extreme moment loads.

The clear glass design of the FP pack allows easy detection of oil loss. The pump unit can be mounted either directly onto the motor cover or on the opposite side.

Integrated hydraulic power unit

The integral hydraulic clamping system consists of 3 dual clamping shoes (2 on the PH-450 model), locking the outside diameter of the worm wheel. Each clamp shoe can be individually controlled to maximise its performance. The system is fed by a specially prepared HAWE FP electric clamping pump (where fitted). The HAWE pump has been specially selected with an innovative clear tank design to monitor the oil levels. The system also incorporates all required switching and monitoring functions required by the target machine control system.
The table can be fitted with different faceplate variations as standard. Without any machining, various centres can be added to assist component location. Location spigot, location recess, Morse / ISO / HSK taper are just some of the standard centres that can be interchanged for different applications. An independent 4 jaw chucking system can also be integrated into the T-slots of the table enabling component clamping. For hydraulic fixturing mounted on the table a thru hole / hydraulic coupling can supply any number of services thru the table. 3 equally spaced (2 on the PH-450) clamping shoes hold directly on the outer diameter of the worm wheel resulting in highly effective clamping.

Mounting positions on 3 sides of the table allow the table to be fixed into any orientation and multi-direction location keys in the base allow the table to be orientated into any desired position.

A high accuracy direct axis encoder combined with low run-out bearings provide the table with very accurate positioning and repeatability. This high accuracy is still available with either the thru hole or hydraulic coupling option.
